Our Story

Athletic Shoulder was formed after our founder, Ben Ashworth, created and published the ASH Test, now used by elite level and high performance athletes concerned with shoulder health and performance testing globally. As a result, we enable athletes and teams to make decisions backed up by solid evidence.

Ben is an innovator and he was determined to draw his own map. He developed the ASH Test to create a change in behaviour in the space. Through testing and learning with elite athletes, the ASH Test, and now Athletic Shoulder, will always be underpinned by hard evidence from the highest performers.

Through collaborating with industry leading peers around the world, we’ve filled a knowledge gap in shoulder health and performance. At Athletic Shoulder, we share that knowledge with you to create solutions to the problems most commonly found in the space.
